This is the final reminder that the King of Mahjong Tournament and Hangzhou/Shanghaiese Cuisine Dinner will be held this coming Saturday. Here are the details about the event:

Date: October 30 (Saturday)
Time: Tournament starting 4pm, dinner starting about 7:30pm
Venue: Lac Printemps Restaurant, 11/F, Chuang's London Plaza, 219 Nathan Road, Kowloon (Near Jordan MTR)
Fee: About HKD200 (Tournament + Dinner, about HKD150 for dinner only)

Medals will be awarded to the top 4 players, and the winner will win a prize of $500.

We need to finalize the number of participant by Thursday, so please confirm by replying to this email or call Victor Nip (MBA 1996) at 2844-4554 during office hours (or 9218-7210 after hours). Friends of HKTX may also register but priority is given to alumni first. Interested alumni please deposit HK$100 per person into the following HSBC account:

As we have to limit the number of players to 16 (no limit for the number for dinner, though), so please register early. Friends of HKTX may also register but priority is given to alumni first. Interested alumni please deposit HK$100 per person into the following HSBC account:

Dear member,

Due to some unexpected event, we have to postpone the King of Mahjong tournament. The new date will be Oct 30 (Saturday). Please mark your calendar.

For those who had committed to take part, you may request a refund of your deposit or you can use the deposit as a confirmation for taking part in the rescheduled tournament. We are sorry about the inconvenience caused.

As a result of the postponement, we are going to have an happy hour next Friday at Dickens Bar. More information will be sent out later.

Do you think you are a superior mahjong player? Do you want to win the title of King of Mahjong? Well, we are giving y'all a chance to test your mahjong skills.

We are going to have the King of Mahjong Tournament on September 18 (Saturday). The tournament will be followed by dinner. So even if you are not interested in playing mahjong, the event is a chance for you to meet our fellow alumni.
