Last week CU MBA found out that many of its students are not in Hong
Ko ng. After some discussions, we have decided that Hong Kong Texas Exes
will host this event and invite their students/alumni to join. The objectives
for this event are still the same. A joint event will be held in the fall
to welcome the UT joint degree students.
Here are the details for this happy hour:
Date: August 3, 2007 (Friday)
Time: 7-9pm
Place: Deli Lamma, 1/F Unit F, Winner Building , 37 D'Aguilar Street,
Lan Kwai Fong
Fee: Buy your own drinks
It is the place where our MBA alumni had the last two lunches together,
and it is in the same building of the bar where we watched our last few
UT football games. It is a nice place to have a happy hour event.
RSVP. You are also strongly encouraged to ask your friends from UT to
join the gathering.
Thanks and see you there!
May the Horns be with you!

As we have communicated in May, a few CU (The Chinese University of Hong
Ko ng) MBA students are going to UT to pursue their MBA joint degrees
offered jointly by CUHK and UT. We are planning to organize a joint happy
hour with the CU MBA program so that we can offer some final advice to
those students before they take off to Austin, and more importantly to
build up the relationship between students/alumni of the two universities
as supported by our school's MBA program. Here are the tentative details:
Date: August 3, 2007 (Friday)
Time: 7-9pm
Venue: A place on Hong Kong Island
Fee: Buy your own drinks
To show your support for UT, I strongly encourage that you join the gathering.
Also, you will have the chance to meet some bright people whom you may
not be able to meet otherwise.
RSVP. We really need to have a good estimate for this event, so please
do indicate your interest to us. You are also strongly encouraged to ask
your friends from UT to join the gathering.
Thanks and see you there!
May the Horns be with you!
