AGM + Spring/Texas Independance Day Dinner

Here are the details of the AGM + Spring/Texas Independance Day Dinner:

Date: February 27, 2010 (14th day of the lunar year, 3 days ahead of Texas Independance Day)
Time: AGM at 6pm, Dinner at 730pm
Place: Shing Hin Chinese Restaurant, 9/F, Recreation Building, City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon Tong (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/sr2.htm?shopid=6202)
Cost: $0 for AGM, $180 per person for dinner, half price for kids under 12

RSVP. Please write to hongkong@alumni.utexas.net. Please indicate whether you will join only the AGM or only the dinner or both. And, remember that you may bring your friends and family to the dinner, too!

Who We Are

Hong Kong Texas Exes is a group of alumni of the University of Texas at Austin from Hong Kong and/or residing in Hong Kong. It is the official Hong Kong alumni network of Texas Exes as recognized by the International Alumni Office of the Ex-Students' Association. We organize periodic alumni gatherings and serve as a contact point for all Texas Exes who have connections with Hong Kong.

Voluntary Membership Fees and Donations

As we want to do a better job in organizing better and grander activities, we need some financial resources. Members may now support us by paying a voluntary membership fee or making a donation to us online.

Facebook Group

From time to time, our members are invited to join activities organized by alumni organizations of other universities. Details of such activities are communicated through Facebook. More than 50% of our members have joined our Facebook group, and some people who are not our alumni but attended our activities because of their connections with our alumni are also in the group. Some alumni in the Facebook group have not officially joined Hong Kong Texas Exes yet. Through the group alumni get connected with many long-lost friends.
